Team Building That Isn't The Usual Thing

Game of Throwing London is an instructor-led, interactive axe-throwing venue at 136 King Street, Hammersmith. Three digital lanes host up to 18 throwers per session, with real axes, a safety briefing, technique coaching from your Axe Master and projected game modes that turn practice into competition. Our interactive ChampThrow lanes take up to 6 players.

Whether it's a team away day, a client social, or a full department event, sessions are hosted end-to-end — no experience needed, and everyone's throwing with confidence within minutes of the briefing. If your group is bigger than one lane can hold, we'll split you across multiple lanes with staggered start times so the whole team still throws together.

Safety, What To Wear & Getting Here

Safety: every session starts with a compulsory safety briefing. Axes are only ever thrown down empty, enclosed lanes under instructor supervision. Closed-toe shoes covering the whole foot are required — no flip-flops or sandals.

Arrival: please plan for your group to arrive at least 10 minutes before your session start time to allow everyone to check in.

Getting here: 136 King Street, Hammersmith, London W6 0QU — nearest stations Hammersmith and Ravenscourt Park. There is no on-site parking.

Corporate Event FAQs

How many people can you accommodate for a corporate event?
Each of our three lanes holds up to six throwers, for a maximum of 18 axe throwers per standard session. For larger groups, ask us about combined sessions or whole-venue hire.
Can we book the whole venue exclusively?
Reach out to us directly and we'll help arrange private lane or full-venue hire for your event — get in touch and our team will usually respond within 24 hours.
What's the cancellation and payment policy?
Full payment is taken at the time of booking a session. To make payment for a corporate booking, please email or phone us directly. If you need to reschedule, contact us at least 72 hours before your session and we'll work to find a more suitable time.
Do you offer a deposit option for corporate bookings?
Yes we do, also payments by invoice. For larger corporate bookings, please contact us directly to discuss payment arrangements.
What should attendees wear?
Closed-toe shoes that cover the whole foot are required — no flip-flops or sandals. Flat shoes are best for throwing in.
Is there parking at the venue?
There is no on-site parking. The venue is a short walk from Hammersmith and Ravenscourt Park stations.
How do we get a quote for our event?

Can we book a session outside of the times listed online?
Yes — contact us directly and we'll work with you to get your team on the lanes at a time that suits your event.
Is axe throwing safe for a corporate group?
Sessions take place under highly controlled conditions. Axes are only ever thrown down empty, enclosed lanes under the watchful eye of an experienced instructor, and our axes and flooring are designed to reduce unwanted bounces. Safety is our highest priority and we continually review and update our practices.
